How to Apply

• A graduate of Thunderbird Challenge Program
• 16.5–20 years old
• High school graduate, or on track to earn high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma (GED® or HiSET®) by the end of the program
• Oklahoma resident and a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident of the United States
• No felony convictions or pending felony charges and free of illegal drug use

• • The following documents will be required as part of your application:
  • Education Records
    
    •  Current high school transcript, high school/GED/HiSET diploma, or GED/HiSET subtests passed.
      *Transcripts and diplomas can be requested from your school or the last school you attended.

• • Proof of Identity & Citizenship
    
    •  Birth certificate, proof of citizenship or lawful permanent residency
    •  Social Security Card
    •  Parent/Legal Guardian Photo ID, Legal Guardianship Documents (if applicable)
    •  Applicant Photo ID (if you have one)
      *Note: Photo ID must be a driver license if applicant plans to bring their own vehicle and is over the age of 18. If you will not be driving, any photo ID is acceptable.

• • Proof of Residency
    
    •  Proof of Oklahoma residency

• • Health Documentation
    
    •  Health Insurance, medical cards, CDIB card (if applicable)
    •  Immunization record and/or ODH Form 216-A (PDF)
    •  Details about prescriptions and/or medical equipment

Once you have been determined eligible to interview, we will contact you to schedule an interview date. 

Candidates are selected by a review panel after they have completed their interview. Selections will begin in October and continue on a rolling basis until spots are filled. Once selections are made, Recruiting will notify applicants if they are accepted, waitlisted or ineligible.
