How to Apply

• A graduate of Thunderbird Challenge Program
• 16.5–20 years old
• High school graduate, or on track to earn high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma (GED® or HiSET®) by the end of the program
• Oklahoma resident and a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident of the United States
• No felony convictions or pending felony charges and free of illegal drug use

The first step of the application is the Inquiry Form. Once you have submitted the Inquiry form, you will receive a confirmation email with an Admissions ID for logging into your admissions portal. Log into the portal to complete the rest of your application and submit the required documents below. A member of our team will contact you once your application has been reviewed.

• • Education Records
    
    •  Current high school transcript, high school/GED/HiSET diploma, or GED/HiSET subtests passed.
      *Transcripts and diplomas can be requested from your school or the last school you attended.

• • Proof of Identity & Citizenship
    
    •  Birth certificate, proof of citizenship or lawful permanent residency
    •  Social Security Card
    •  Parent/Legal Guardian Photo ID, Legal Guardianship Documents (if applicable)
    •  Applicant Photo ID (if you have one)
      *Note: Photo ID must be a driver license if applicant plans to bring their own vehicle and is over the age of 18. If you will not be driving, any photo ID is acceptable.

• • Proof of Residency

    •  Health Insurance, medical cards, CDIB card (if applicable)
    •  Immunization record and/or ODH Form 216-A (PDF)

Once you have been determined eligible to interview, we will contact you to schedule an interview date. 

Candidates are selected by a review panel after they have completed their interview. Selections will begin in October and continue on a rolling basis until spots are filled. Once selections are made, Recruiting will notify applicants if they are accepted, waitlisted or ineligible.
