Determine Eligibility
- A graduate of Thunderbird Challenge Program
- 16.5–20 years old
- High school graduate, or on track to earn high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma (GED® or HiSET®) by the end of the program
- Oklahoma resident and a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident of the United States
- No felony convictions or pending felony charges and free of illegal drug use

Submit Your Application
Submit your application. A member of our team will contact you once your application has been reviewed.
Prepare for Interview
Once you have been determined eligible to interview, we will send you an Interview Questionnaire and contact you to schedule an Interview date. Begin the process of gathering or updating the following documents. They are required for acceptance into the program and will be requested during Interview or In-Processing.
- Education Records
- Current high school transcript, high school/GED/HiSET diploma, or GED/HiSET subtests passed.
*Transcripts and diplomas can be requested from your school or the last school you attended.

- Birth certificate, proof of citizenship or lawful permanent residency

*Note: Photo ID must be a driver license if applicant plans to bring their own vehicle and is over the age of 18. If you will not be driving, any photo ID is acceptable.

Selection and Notification
Candidates are selected by a review panel. Selections will begin in late June and continue on a rolling basis through the summer until spots are filled. Once selections are made, Recruiting will notify applicants if they are accepted, waitlisted or ineligible.
